Basco Iris V.D. Overstort (Basco) - winning his class at the Bouvier National Specialty at just over one year of age.  Basco has not been shown since then due to an illness of his owner but will be out again soon to finish his career.

Basco' sire, Gjis, obtained the following titles in his short career:  Dutch Champion, Swiss Champion, English Champion, Group 1 Crufts 2006, Group 4 Crufts 2005, Winner K.C.M. 2005, European Champion 2005 and European Champion 2004. 

Sadly, Gjis and his daughter died in a tragic ferry accident while crossing to England for a show in 2006.  

Basco's dam, Iris Liar, is from the well known Overstort Kennel in the Netherlands.  Her grandsire is Kamp. Nigel Ben Faisca V.D. Overstort,  who was multiple Best of Breed winner at the Dutch National Specialties.

We imported Basco from Joop and Annie Pater of the Overstort Kennel to use for our stud dog.  We have already found that he passes on a great temperament, conformation, soundness and good bone, a very good strong topline with a nice short back, excellent movement, and a correctly proportioned head with good size.  He has been health tested for hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, and cardiac and eye diseases.
